These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Konnectet platform as an Event Creator. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. For general terms applicable to all users of the Konnectet Platform, please refer to our Trade Conditions.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: The Konnectet application and website, which enables Event Creators to host events and manage transactions.
  • Event Creator: An individual or entity that creates and manages events on the Platform.
  • User: Any individual who accesses the Platform, including Event Seekers who purchase tickets or join events.
  • Stripe Fees: The fees charged by Stripe, our payment processor, for handling payments.

2. Platform Fee

Konnectet charges a 7.5% fee per transaction, which is deducted from the payment received for each event ticket or service sold.

Additionally, Stripe Fees are applied to all transactions. These fees vary based on Stripe’s pricing structure and are passed directly to the Event Creator.

The combined fees (Platform Fee + Stripe Fees) will be deducted automatically before funds are transferred to the Event Creator’s connected account.

3. Payments and Payouts

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Event Creators are required to connect their Stripe account to receive payouts. Event Creators will also get access to their own dashboards, where they can track their transactions.

Payout schedules are managed through Stripe and typically follow their standard processing timelines. For details on payment security and processing, refer to the Trade Conditions.

Konnectet will assist Event Creators in resolving any payout issues promptly in collaboration with Stripe. However, we are not liable for delays caused by Stripe or by inaccurate information submitted by the Project Maker.

4. Responsibilities of Event Creators

Event Creators must ensure that events listed on the Platform comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

You are solely responsible for the content, quality, and delivery of your events unless explicitly agreed otherwise with the Konnectet team.

Konnectet will handle refund requests and assist in resolving disputes with event participants. However, the Event Creator is responsible for the overall event experience and must work with Konnectet to address any issues that arise. For refund and cancellation policies, refer to the Trade Conditions.

5. Prohibited Activities

Event Creators must not:

  • Use the Platform for illegal activities or purposes.
  • Provide false or misleading information about events.
  • Collect payments outside the Platform to circumvent fees.

If Konnectet becomes aware of any prohibited activity, we reserve the right to take the following actions:

  • Suspend or terminate the Event Creator’s account.
  • Withhold any payments associated with the prohibited activity.
  • Report illegal activities to the relevant authorities.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Konnectet has a set refund policy in place that applies to all transactions processed through the Platform. Event Creators are required to familiarize themselves with and adhere to Konnectet’s refund policy outlined in the Trade Conditions.

In cases of disputes, Konnectet will handle refund requests according to its established policy. The Event Creators is still responsible for resolving any event-specific issues, but Konnectet will mediate and process refunds as necessary.

7. Taxes

Event Creators are solely responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting any taxes applicable to their events.

Konnectet does not provide tax advice or services.

8. Termination

Konnectet reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Event Creator’s account for violations of these Terms or applicable laws.

Upon termination, any pending payouts will be processed in accordance with these Terms as well as Stripe’s policies.

9. Liability

Konnectet strives to provide a seamless and reliable Platform, but it is provided “as is,” and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free functionality at all times.

While we make every effort to ensure smooth operations, Konnectet is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Platform, except where required by law.

10. Changes to Terms

Konnectet reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Notice of changes will be provided via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Changes affecting all users are outlined in the general Trade Conditions.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between Event Creators and Konnectet will be resolved through negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Denmark.
